Help! Becker just expired while I am studying for FAR and REG!

    Hi guys,

    My Becker study materials just expired while I was studying for FAR and REG. Although I love becker, it is super expensive and I cannot afford to buy another Becker subscription. What other good cpa review materials are out there? Any suggestions? My test is this month:(

    BEC-80 yay!!
    AUD- 91 whohooo!
    REG- 67:( 74:( really?! I'll see you in April REG!!! 87!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I'm done as of August 2015!!!
    FAR- 68:( 79!!!! 2015 is soooo loving me!

    1. You can try and get an extension. I got one for REG, but not sure what the specific requirements are.

    2. NINJA MCQ is amazing and cheap. Helped me pass FAR, AUD and BEC- has MCQs and SIMS

    3. I've heard Gleim is cheap, but have never used it.

    @THISGIRLNEEDSTOPASSHERCPA How far are you through the material? From the looks of it you are doing all retest so if I were you I would use the Becker books and get a separate test bank. That should do the trick. I know Wiley test bank is pretty reasonable. Or find somebody's becker log in to use. I know its not the best practice but we are all in this together.

    You should be able to obtain an extension for a full testing window (2 months) if you're able to prove to them that you have exams scheduled within that time. They will ask you to send them your Prometrics confirmation emails.

    FAR - ✓
    AUD - ✓
    REG - ✓
    BEC - ✓

    Don't give up!

    I had no idea about Becker Extension so I just purchased Ninja MCQs. I like it, but now that I know of the extension I'm requesting one today. Have FAR exam scheduled for 1/27, and course expired 1/5!!! Good Luck!

    THE 300 CLUB WILL DO JUST FINE!

    Wiley books + Ninja MCQ = success for me. None of the Ninja books were out when I was studying and I don't truthfully know which ones are out now, but Wiley books are usually around $50 and the Ninja MCQ is $47 so you could pass both parts for around $200 of study materials!

    I'm a TEN POINT Subscriber.

    I really like and enjoy your comments but be careful when promoting other materials other than NINJA stuff.

    In a previous thread related to the Wiley books, I replied to another member of the forum (Boricuainthehouse), but the thread was deleted because I offered to send my Wiley book for REG for free.

    Was that the reason? Don't know. Maybe it was because I included my email address on that thread.

    Haven't read the rules yet for posting stuff.

    Hope this one is not deleted.

    No posting email addresses and no swapping materials due to licensing issues. You can definitely talk about the materials you are using and what works and doesn't work for you and why.

    9. I had 5 questions over _____ on my FAR exam and Wow – I had Sim topics over ___ and I can't believe it!!! It was barely covered in my course!!! Can I say that in a post?

    Thanks for the suggestions guys! Will definitely try extending. I'm thinking of also getting ninja mcq. Did anyone here just use a final review course for retakes?
