    Hi All,

Question on which to use. I am taking Aud 2 months from today, the firm I am working for purchased Becker for me, but I also had to purchase Gleim for my CPA prep classes through my university.

I just need advice on which to use (I think I am going to HAVE to use Gleim as my main because our instructors will track our progress at my school) So maybe a better question is how to use Becker as a supplement to Gleim. Thank you!

I've used becker as my main course, and my own experience is that they prepared me so well for the exam. You can simply use Becker as your complement by working on those MCQ and simulations. The more you practice, the better.

I used gleim for my EA.

I passed it and it's all due to gleim.

That being said, I'd rather gouge my eyes out then use it again.

I'm also using becker now, full transparency.

Gleim is for people who already know how to study and can keenly detect nuances on their own. It's a head-on approach best suited for the extremely disciplined and budget-conscious candidate.

Becker is best for everybody else.

Used exclusively GLEIM for Both CMA and all CPA tests. Passed FAR, AUD, CMA 1 & 2, all on first shot and hopefully will get first attempt passing scores on REG and BEC next month. My strategy for each has been to read the book once then hammer MCQs with the book as reference as needed. If that sounds like something you can get with, then GLEIM might be a fit for you. I watched no lectures or anything and really only practiced Research SIMs. The GLEIM MCQs are adequate preparation for the tasks you will be asked to perform on the SIMs.
