General Becker Study Question

I am currently using the online Becker course and studying for FAR. I watch all the lectures and then move on to the multiple choice questions. I generally get around 65 or 70% correct on average my first time through all the multiple choice questions. Is this percentage too low? What is a good target percentage to get on multiple choice questions the first time through?

I go back through the multiple choice questions I got wrong later, but I sometimes find myself remembering the answer. I do feel like I understand the theory and concepts well, but sometimes I struggle with the practical application questions. Any comments would be helpful.

I think that is a good percentage for the first time through. I would suggest that you make time to go back through the chapters and re-read/ take notes on the material. It helps me to re-write the examples, as well. FAR has a good mixture of concept and application problems, so the conceptual knowledge will help you, but definitely strive to refine your skills in applying the concepts to numbers. I think everyone feels lost with the amount of material that is FAR!

65-70% sounds fairly reasonable for first time. Try to move on to a few more chapters before coming back and going everything again.

    FAR (4/14/14) - 97
    REG (11/17/14) - 94
    BEC (11/30/14) - 92
    AUD (2/28/15) - 99
    TEARS!
