Did you feel Becker 2011 material prepares us to take exam in 2012?

I only used the 2011 for BEC but I got an 81 on the exam so I would say that it is pretty solid.

REG 76

Did you guys read the ancillary material? I have been told to read it because a lot of ancillary material is tested for REG. for FAR and AUD, I did not read ancillary material at all.

From what I've been told, do not skip ancillary materials for REG. You have been warned 🙂

To question 1: I only used becker 2011 and took exam in 2012. Just make sure to read the updates on Becker's website.

To question 2: I did not read one word of ancillary material. While the best advice is clearly to read the ancillary material, it is possible to pass without.

BEC - 78
REG - 81
FAR - 69, 76 and Done!

I used 2011 for REG 2012 exam. It was sufficient!!

Check Becker's website for updates and READ every single line in the book, including ancillary material. I would encourage you to read the anciliary material 3-4 times and work all the MCQs in the passmaster. My MCQs were conceptual heavy and having read the book is very beneficial!
