Is it worth the time to go through the SIMS for FAR using Becker or just better to make sure you know the material? I’m getting crunched on time, take the test 11/23 and haven’t started on any SIMS. Is it better to review the SIMS or just focus on material and MCQ’s? I can say that I’ve really never went through any of the SIMS in reviewing for my past exams, just because I figure they can come from anywhere, but this is my last one hopefully and I hear terrible things about FAR haha!

Doing all this with a 2yr old and newborn to boot!!
    BEC - 64(2/2013), 75 🙂 4/2013
    REG - 79 🙂 7/2013
    AUD - 52(2/2013), 77 🙂 8/2013
    FAR - 11/2013

I didn't really do any sims at all for FAR. I just knew the material really well. Just look at some sims and make sure if you were asked a question like that you could do it, if not you don't know it well enough. If your not working and have time I would do every single multiple choice question again in Becker. 3 chapters a day is possible if your not working. That really really helped me to solidify my knowledge and keep everything fresh.

For me, I found some of the SIMs helpful in reinforcing some of the concepts.

Some of the journal entries (like Bonds or Pension costs) were hard to grasp with just the lectures and multiple choices.

But after doing the SIMs for it, it was easier for me to understand the material.

The solution explanations are also more detailed than the multiple choices explanation.
