    Hi guys,

I have been skipping the optional questions on Becker course for FAR. Is that a good idea?

How important are the optional questions? Did you do them? Why would Becker title them as “optional” if they were important?

    Please advise!

it really depends on your learning style. I did about 100 total multiple choice on becker for all of my tests.

    BEC 87 Feb 14
    REG 84 Apr 14
    FAR 82 Nov 14

For FAR, as a general rule, the regular set of Becker MCQ is more difficult than what is on the exam. The optional MCQ in Becker is more difficult than the regular set. So compared to the exam, the optional MCQ is REALLY difficult.

With that being said, it's worth going through once. You'll pick up a few things you might have missed otherwsie. And if you can nail the Optional MCQ in Becker, you should be well prepared on that subject.

Great tip! I think I'll go over them once to avoid any regrets …

I always do the optional homework questions. More review to do.
