So far I’ve used Becker for three sections– REG, BEC, and FAR. I passed both REG and BEC my first try with Becker. I’m taking FAR on Tuesday (1st try with Becker, 2nd try overall), so we’ll see how that goes.
Although I did pretty horribly on the homework along the way (typically below 40% on my first try), I just did a progress test over all 10 chapters and got a 73. That is way better than I was expecting to do, and is actually in the neighborhood of how I was doing for BEC in the last few days before I took it.
Despite that, I have this mental block that Becker has not prepared me well enough, that I haven’t studied hard enough, and that FAR is this giant beast just waiting to kill me. Right now I’m going over the progress test and writing down why I got all of my wrong answers wrong. Maybe that’ll help it stick better. I remember feeling this way with BEC too– that I was unprepared and that there was no way I’d be able to pass.
For those of you who have passed FAR, how were you doing in progress tests in your final days of studying before the test? Did you feel that you were well prepared? How do you learn to trust yourself or trust Becker?
REG- 53, 91
BEC- 88
FAR- 62, 85
AUD- 85Ethics- 93
