I feel like I’m going to fail this exam! I’ve been getting 35% for all my homework topics on Becker. Did anyone else have such score and managed to pass? I really need some confidence booster as this is my very last exam. I tried redoing the questions but it’s not helping. 🙁 I feel like I’ve learned all this stuff but it’s been 1.5 years. And I don’t want to reschedule…. 🙁

You should be good to go. I was scoring in like the 5%-10% range when I passed FAR. You dont have anything to worry about. You should have your license in no time.

Yes! Not kidding. The best I've gotten is probably 50% on a couple topics. Am I going to fail? 🙁

I've been really busy working. In a big4 firm doing tax and we are pretty busy for the 9/15 deadlines. Hence I have not been putting as much time as I had for all other papers. I am fortunate enough to take this week off from work, though one of the managers wasn't very happy. I'm pretty much doing the supplemental questions now – on Topic4 now.

You should definately reschedule! Look on this forum how many people have been studying really hard and still felt that FAR was very difficult on exam day. With those scores, i'd say you still have a very long way to go. Save yourself the time and money.

But I still have this 1 week! For all my other exams, I really didn't have much time to study as I had to work long hours and the only time I get to really study are weekends..

FAR is not like all the other exams…The sheer volume of material is alot to master, and its not going to be enough to just know the basics. I took FAR on sat, and I can tell you from experience that the details really matter. And all those small details are not something you can master in a week. It's ok if you still want to take FAR in a week, but go into it knowing that you won't pass, and that taking it is simply a learning experience to get familiar with the new format.

CALCPASoon – I am looking back at my all other exams' scores. I think I actually got about the same range for all others and I did manage to pass – perhaps by luck. I am pretty set to take this exam since it is my last one, and if I fail, I will retake it in the next window. It's just a pain to go over again. Anyway, I like how you are discouraging me, it makes me feel more stressful, work harder and be more motivated to defeat this darn beast.

May I ask how you did on the review homework/ final exam? Did you use Becker?

Sorry. What I meant was mainly the Supplementary Questions. I always find them way harder than the regular questions. Another side note, I tend to slack when I do the questions (eg. I'd do the questions on my bed while half asleep) I start to believe it's how you understand the questions from your mistakes than getting high scores without knowing why you are right.

I used Wiley, Gleim and Ninja. I was scoring consistently in the 70's by the time I took the test. In my personal experience, the exam was not at all what I expected. With so much material that COULD be tested, I expected a good mix of different topics, but did not feel that was the case when I took the exam. Instead I found the exam to heavily test relatively few topics.

Good luck. I'm not trying to be discouraging, just want you to know what you are getting into.

Oh yeah. I'm sure you did well then. I remember when I took REG, it wasn't what I expected at all, I had to guess for all the simulations. I think I had really ridiculous questions that I have never seen anywhere. Anyway, I have these few days/nights to hopefully improve my scores and understandings. Need tons of luck and blessing.
