Hi all,

This is my first contribution to the forum but I have been reading throughout my studies. I am currently on F7 Becker self-study and looking ahead at planning my 2 week final review. I have an idea on how I would like to proceed but want to hear from those who have experienced the test. SO here it goes:

Week 1:

Sun- Practice exam #1 (identify problem areas)

Mon-Fri: outline highlighted/notes in book, F1-F10

Sat-Sun: Sims/MCQ problem areas

Week 2:

Mon- Practice Exam #2

Tues-Sun: MCQ until I can MCQ no more

At some point your saturation levels have to diminish. After reading many posts, it’s good to know that I am not alone in feeling overwhelmed at the amount of material but it obviously can be done. Currently working full time and getting ready for year end, we all know how that goes…

I wouldn't start off with a practice test to identify your weak areas. The practice exam doesn't break it down for you by section. I'd save the practice exams for AFTER you've been through your review. Maybe start with just 90 progress test MCQ's if you want to identify your weaknesses.

What I normally do to review is (I don't identify my ‘weak' areas btw…by the end, even things I was good at weeks ago need a little refreshing) just start from scratch reviewing one chapter a day, skimming, reworking missed problems, reviewing and outlining main concepts and then do 50 questions at the end of the day just on that chapter.

Next day, I'll do exactly the same, except also add in 30 comprehensive questions.

By the 3rd day I'll do a 30 question comprehensive quiz in the morning before adding on another chapter, and then the same as above.

Once I'm done with that I have about 4-5 days before the exam to focus in on my weak areas and tie it all together. This is when I'll do a practice exam, and then immediately review it. Spend the next day reviewing more, and then the following day do practice exam 2.

It all does come together! I promise!

DONE DONE DONE and DONE all on the first try! It IS possible, just keep on studying!

Thanks for the response cb, that approach does make more sense then what I was going with. Do you squeeze in time for the sims as well?
