Just took a 100 question progress test (Becker) for FAR. I got a 72. My exam is tomorrow at 1pm. You think this 72 is a good sign? Really nervous, but I suprisingly am not as worried about this one. I have spent a great deal of time preparing. Thanks for any replies.

I really like progress tests in Becker!!! I bet you will do just fine with that score. When it comes to FAR, I always tell everyone that there will be so much that you studied.. that you will probably not see on the exam. I thought it was way easier than Becker. Don't be in fear of the sims if you see something that Becker “barely” touched on. It's ok.. just relax, breath and do the best you can. If you don't know it.. the other candidates probably don't either.

I got something completely crazy in my sims.. Becker had one page on the material.. but I still passed with an 81.. and I'm sure I got that entire sim wrong! You will be just fine.. just don't freak out and monitor your time 🙂

I have doing really well on the progress test but only scored a 61 on my second practice final. I test on Saturday so am taking another progress test today and redoing all of my notes. It's tedious.

CPA Someday

I had almost the exact same situation as you today. I had like 3 questions on my exam that Becker only used a half-page to cover. And one of my sims was something I had seen before, but never thought it was worth a bunch of my time. It should have been. ha. But all in all I feel okay about the exam today.

My first testlet was easy (to me). I breezed through almost every question. My second testlet was medium difficulty (to me). I missed a few in that testlet. My third testlet was exactly like my second one, except I “marked” more questions than I did in the second testlet. So, it kinda scares me that I did not have a “difficult” testlet. Hopefully, I passed this exam.

You never know until the scores are released.. I'm sure I'll get asked a million times today “how did you do?” and I'll have to keep repeating myself “NEVER KNOW, UNTIL THE SCORES COME OUT!” haha 🙂
