I averaged an 90% on the FAR Becker practice exam simulations, but I felt that they were extremely easy and basic…Did anyone else feel this way (I assume the practice exam is the same for everyone?)? Is it even a good way to gage my progress?

Also, do the becker practice exam MCQs hold to the percent ranges for the actual exam that is in the front of the book? I had barely any gov or NFP and everyone that I have talked to about the exam says that there were A TON on their exam.

My score for the practice exam was a 73%, should I be worried?

    Thanks

I scored about the same as you.

My MCQ were a 68% and my SIMs were 90% and it weighted out to a 77%

Ive been reading that on average people tend to score 10 points higher on the actual exam VS Becker Practice Exam so hopefully that holds true for both of us

Yes, that held true for my AUD exam at least. FAR just makes me extremely nervous. Good luck to you!

I honestly don't ever do the full Becker practice exams because I found them to be extremely inaccurate. I did both for my first test, which was BEC. I got a 60 2 weeks before the test and a 45 the night before the exam. I got an 84. After that I decided just to stick to progress tests of 30 questions. I find if I'm trending in the mid 70s to low 80s on a bunch of sets of 30 I pass in the high 70s.

Good luck to all of us to get through FAR this time!!

@k93 – you'll be fine. That's actually very similar to what I had (72-73 MCQ and 87-88 Sims). Becker prepared me very, very well when it came to sims, and I found the sims on the actual exam to be very easy in comparison to Becker sims.

The Becker Bump is real. You'll do great.

So FAR so Good is absolutely right. There's a thread that shows that the vast majority of the time, people who use Becker (myself included) score around 10 points or more higher on the actual exam than they do on their practice Becker exam(s).

Thanks for the advice. Any tips for the last two days before the test?
