    Hello Everyone!

I am taking FAR in two weeks. I am wrapping up with Ch10 in Becker. I have been getting low mc scores in the homework sections. I am planning to review Ch 1-10 and reworking the mc and sims within this week and next week and leave about 3 days to do the final exam. Is this still doable? I am just discouraged with the low mc scores I’ve received at the first try. I feel like I know the concept well enough but am still constantly getting low scores…

Any help/advises would be greatly appreciated!

My first time through I answered only about 30-40% of the MC and I scored 50% or less. I hit my review phase a few days ago and I've been knocking out a chapter per day by answering all the MC. I have been scoring around 70% and in some good areas, over 85%. It all comes together in the review.

I'd only maybe recommend that you only do the SIMS if you have time. I won't concentrate on them too much. If you understand the material, you should be able to formulate proper J/E's. If it's shaky, study the entries. From what I hear, the SIMS in Becker are so much easier than anything you'll see on the exam. So in some eyes, it's a wasted time for doing them in Becker..

    Using Becker self-study
    FAR: (82) 175 hours - 1st attempt
    BEC: (XX)
    AUD: (69) 45hrs of study - 1st attempt
    REG: (XX)

Don't get depressed on Becker MCQs, especially FAR. Becker tends to throw extremely complicated and long questions for MC, which rarely happens in real exam. I would suggest you review the questions you missed anyway, but don't worry too much about those multi-step computations (such as pension, lease, etc.)

    FAR (4/14/14) - 97
    REG (11/17/14) - 94
    BEC (11/30/14) - 92
    AUD (2/28/15) - 99
    TEARS!
