Last time I attepmted FAR in last january (2011) and got 71 points and after that I did not get chance to attempt. Now, I am taking FAR on 19 Jan 2012 and I have Becker CPA Review Package 2012 Software. I do not have FINAL REVIEW Package of Becker for study. I still have my books for FAR for 2011 Pacakge.

My questions are

1) Is there any impact of not using FINAL REVIEW PACKAGE on my exam prepration ?

2) Is there any major changes in the books of 2011 and 2012 for FAR that may affect me ?

3) Should I use lectures for each topic for my prepartion ? Last time I did not use the lectures !!!

I can't necessarily speak for the differences between Becker 2011 and 2012 but I purchased Becker 2010, studied for awhile (and gave up.) Then this past summer I purchased Becker 2012.

I found the only real differences between 2010 and 2012 in FAR was the 2010 materials didn't speak to IFRS as of yet. All of the GAP information seemed to be almost identical. There were some serious differences in the other sections however so keep that in mind.
