Based on some posts, one major update for 2012 Becker materials was reclassification of ancillary material to regular material. Is this also true for FAR? Any other notes on differences between 2011 and 2012 would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am not familair with the 2011 material, but 2012 has 10 lectures. Lecture 10 includes partnerships,VIE's, ARO's, Derivatives, Troubled Debt Restructuring, etc.

From what I've read, the chances of the ancillary material showing up is slim, like 1 question? Correct me if I'm wrong.

CPAski, yes that's what they typically say in Becker lectures, etc. However for 2012, for some sections (I think I've seen REG for sure) they moved ancillary to regular which would suggest that it has more than a remote chance of being tested. With that said, I'm not planning to skip any material, just trying to determine how much time to focus on the ancillary in my 2011 book. Wasn't sure if they did the same for FAR.
