    Becker Question –

What do you guys do when you fall a few days behind on your study plan? Right now I am only 18% done with the HW for F2 and I should of started F3 a couple of days ago. Do you think it’s more important to stick with the HW from F2 before moving on? There are so many problems to do, but I guess it will be helpful, ugh feeling overwhelmed this week

Personally, I wouldn't skip anything… except for the optional questions. I save optional questions for my review period. Otherwise, I think you should work on the problems for each lecture.

    Good luck!

EDIT: And for the record, I am ALWAYS behind on my Becker schedule. It's great to have the schedule outlined so you stick with it as much as you can… But don't let it make you rush through the chapters.

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

    DONE!!!! CA Candidate
    Beat the 12/31/13 clock!

F2 is frustrating for a lot of folks due to the amount of MCQ's. It can make you think all of FAR review will be just like it and you will never get through it all. Just keep working through them, you should find you will move a little more quickly through the other chapters. I don't know what your schedule is like, but it took me about 3 days (sometimes 4) to get through one chapter during the week because I work. I used the weekends to play “catch” up and get through more material by putting in longer study hours.

    AUD - 90 Pass
REG - 70,61,81 Pass DONE DONE DOOOOONNEEE!!!!!!!!
    BEC - 79 - Pass
    FAR - 70,82 - Pass

F2 suuuuucks!! Personally, I skipped it, because I was getting so frustrated that I just wouldn't study at all. But if you can just push through it, try to get them done!

Edit: I did eventually finish F2, lol. I didn't just skip it entirely. I finished it during my review.

    R - *77*(02/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
    B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINA

    DONE, DONE, AND DONE.

I don't think you need to do all of the questions. I never finished *all* the questions in any Becker class and I passed. In the sections where there are hundreds of questions, I just did not have the time. I'd do what I could and then move on to the next section. During my review after the class ended I went back and did some of the missed questions but never made it through all of them.

I work full time and more and there are just so many hours in the day. If I had had more time to devote to studying I would have skipped less questions and maybe received better scores.

I used Becker, but haven't followed the becker study plan. Take your time, and make sure you do all MCQ except optional questions – I never done optional MCQ for FAR. If you can manage your time to do all lecture, MCQs, and do one round of final review within 8 weeks, you should be in good shape.

    Currently:
    CPA - Class of 2013
    ALMI (Associate, Life Management Institute)
CISA - Passed in 2011, Certified in 2014

    In Progress:
ASA (Associate of Society of Actuaries) - EXAM P (O), EXAM FM (O), EXAM MFE (X), EXAM MLC (X), EXAM C (X)
