Is anyone finding that F2- Becker to be a nightmare?

Not only is the volume of questions overwhelming but I felt like when I read the material I got it but then when I went to the MCQ I was doing horrible!

Anyone going through this?

I start my live classes July 9 but I wanted to get at least 4-5 chapters done before then so I can be ahead of the game. Now I am wondering if I should just spend more time on this chapter rather than advance to chapter 3.

It's normal to feel overwhelmed by f2 and f3.. Just remember that this is a test where you only need a 75 to pass, and these chapters are just a portion of the test.

That said, try to grasp the basic concepts and understand the big picture, as more often than not, topics intertwine and there are similarities between chapters. Just plow through it and try to retain as much info as you can and progress. Don't get too discouraged if you cannot do well on the MC's. Just keep studying the MC solutions and try to understand the answers.

I totally needed this post!! Thank you to everyone who shared. I half-read Becker's FAR book because I got so overwhelmed by the first few chapters and figured I wasn't meant to be a CPA. I'm regrouping this weekend and starting over at FAR 1 (and a new job on Monday). The plan is to go slowly and try to keep the information organized this time. PLUS I'm writing out journal entries for every chapter. No choice but to pass! Here goes nothing….

I finally got through F2 today, and by get through I mean got through the questions (not the optional, or the Sims). Ugh F2 just encompasses every topic I struggle with into one section lol

I can't believe I'm so excited to move on to securities lol
