So I just finished taking the Becker Final Exam for REG and did terribly. I am very frustrated because I have to take my exam on the 11th (The last day of my NTS) so I only have a few more days left to study. I haven’t begun the final review materials yet. I typically do one final exam and then do the final review and then the second exam if I have time. I got scores in the 50s for 2 of the MC and a 62 for one. My Sims were kind of all over the place (50,100,80,80.0.55). Not really sure what to do at this point. I have never done amazing on the practice exams but this is even worse than how I did on the FAR practice exam. Any suggestions?

After trying a couple of practice exams and not doing so well on them, I decided it wasn't worth it for me to spend so much time doing them because they ended up just adding stress. I think right now (and I realize that you posted this 2 days ago, so perhaps you've already done this) is to just do as many MCQs as you can and briefly review any topics and concepts you feel you need to go over.

Doing MCQs is key, and going over the answer explanations will reinforce the information.

I don't know what to tell you about sims – some people find that there is no point to practice them before hand, some people like to get a good feel for them… I think that as long as you understand the technical aspect of how to work the sims, be prepared for anything. Review the different concepts and make sure you are comfortable with the sims format – and make sure to leave enough time for them on the actual exam!

Take it easy. Relax. I did pretty bad on the Becker final exam for Reg, too. I passed the actual exam with 77%. Including a nap I took in the middle of the exam.

Thank you everyone! With only a day left before my exam I have been doing my best to reinforce as much material as possible in my brain. I have been working through the Becker Final Review materials and feel a little better about some of the questions I missed on the final review exam I should have gotten right. Now I just have to memorize all these mnemonics. Not sure if I am going to bother with the second Becker final exam. Is is just me or are the REG research questions much harder to find than the AUD/FAR ones?

I was getting in the high 50s low 60s on my Becker Exams but took the actual test yesterday and thought it went a lot better. Good luck!
