Becker Question –

Do people recommend to do them after listening to lectures + doing the homework? It just seems kinda unnecessary and is taking up a lot of time

Becker takes soon much time. Really! How does one do all of Becker with a full time job???I would try to do at least half of them after the specific lecture, then go back to them as you review. I know they are at the end of the lectures and MCQs, but they are worth 40%, so you should spend a fair amount of time on them.

After listening to the lecture, maybe do the SIMS before you do the MCQs. If you get tired, do your best to answer and make notes from the solutions. I would not skip them altogether.

That is true Nessie, if you do get tired at least try 3-4 I would say. I guess do try the research because those are the ones that practice makes perfect. The other ones its really a test of concept. If you understand the MCQ you should not have issue doing the SIMS but still attempt them. I would originally skip them as I finish the MCQ I would move on to next chapter. Now onto F7 but I started doing the SIMS for F-6. They are very tedious but a good indicator of whether you grasp the material.

Doing them helped me. I don't think I did all, but I did many. The SIMs covered several concepts that the MCQs didn't cover. If you think it's a waste of time, just do a couple. I wouldn't skip them altogether, though.

I used becker for study and did do them all at least once. It just helps seeing what could be asked.

I would do the lectures and then the MCQs. Then during my review phase I would go back and try to do as many SIMS and MCQs as I could. I would definitely recommend trying to do as many SIMS as possible so you can see the types of questions and how to answer them.

The SIMS are really helpful. If you have the time at the end of your studying before your exam I would do them. They are great for a review because they are really comprehensive.

1. MCQ
2. SIMS
3. Note Taking
4. Lecture
