    Becker Question –

    Hello A71 Community:

For the life of me I cannot learn from the lectures! I have tried and tried to make sense of what Tim and company are trying to convey, but I become more confused in regard to the concepts being presented. Although, Peter Olinto is the most entertaining of all.

All that said, I am opting on skipping the lectures and just view the ebook, “highlight this and that” and physically write the notes on the actual book. Plus, I dislike being treated like an elementary student when they read to me or tell me to highlight this and that. C’mon this was 3k+ of cash outflow!!

What would you opine! Thank you in advance!

Monk, judging by the time you spend on here, I'd say you may have not enough time to study 😉

I tried the lectures first go round. Total waste of time for me. I do better when I straight read the book. When I was in school I only went to lectures because I had too, they've never been helpful to my learning.

    AUD - 65, 89!
    REG - 70, 89!
    FAR - 78!
    BEC - 77!

    Finally!

@Tough Kitty I am curious to see if I still visit this site 1 year after my exams. Or will I liberate myself from ever thinking about these exams again?

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

@Study Monk – Haha, probably not. But it's been only a few months since I passed my last exam! And this forum is fun! 🙂

It's good for career advice, too.

    All,

Thank you for you input! @tough_kitty I enjoy how you are always scolding @Study Monk on how he/she should be studying and not on this forum. Nice pic BTW.
