Ditch Becker FAR MCQ for NINJA MCQ?

For those of you who use NINJA MCQ: Do you find them more useful than Becker’s? Would it be worth using them instead of Becker’s for FAR review?

I really need to relearn a lot of my material and I plan to do it mostly through progress tests for the next 3 weeks. However, it’s frustrating that I cannot see my answers for Becker Progress tests until I’m done with them. It’s my understanding that you can do NINJA MCQ progress tests and see the answers right away. Maybe this would be better for me to be able to learn the material more via questions, rather than waiting until the end.

What do you guys think who have used NINJA MCQ? Worth using over Becker’s, specifically for trying to learn the material and concepts via hammering MCQ?

Thank you for answering my annoying, specific question 🙂

I think Ninja MCQ's are a good supplement for Becker. But I don't think learning concepts through MCQ's alone would be a good idea. The MCQ's are a finite number and you start remembering the answers after you've done each question 3-4 times.

@dman1 I'm reviewing my notes as well, but everyone says to just pound out MCQs. In the past I've reread the entire textbook and made outlines, but I decided to abandon that method for FAR because 1) FAR is so long it'd take me forever to get through and 2) I figured that there's more application so that practice would be more important.

However, now I'm struggling with MC since I don't know the information as well. Not sure what to do at this point, still have 3.5 weeks

I have not taken far but found that in other sections if I keep getting a concept wrong, I have to get back to the book as usually it will provide the missing piece and put everything in order…

I find the becker test bank questions to be better, but Ninja's interface to be superior for review stage. Becker doesn't give you answers till the very end of the progress test, and when you do smaller tests, there tend to be a lot of repeats. I suggest you finish all becker MCQ first for sure before getting ninja. It definitely doesn't hurt to have more questions! Ninja is nice in that you can pick which sub-topics you want so you can really target your weaknesses and only do those questions.

@xyz107 Interesting. I did the majority of questions my first time thru lectures, now I'm just doing progress tests for each chapter and will ultimately do a bunch of comprehensive ones (because I don't wanna go module by module through multiple choice again). So maybe NINJA MCQ would be good..
