    Becker Question –

    Hi all,

I’m going through the lecture for R2 and I’m up to the part when he talks about the Coverdell Education Savings account. On Page 10, HE says the requirements is the child/beneficiary be under age 19. my BOOK says age 18. Does anyone know which one is right?? I was surprised to see a mistake!

    BEC - 77, REG - 7/9/2010, FAR - 8/10/2010, AUD - 8/30/2010

Either way, the exam isn't that nit-picky. I would move on…

yes it is a mistake; 18 is correct. If you refernce the updates to the book on Becker's website you'll see that the 18 is correct.

Have you gone to the Becker site for updates/corrections? They offer updates to corrections to MC questions and answers as well as corrections to the lecture and text. Printout the sheets and either mark-up the text or read over the changes.

they are both correct, because 18 years old IS being “under” 19.
