I’m studying for AUD now and heard from others that using Becker homework questions is not sufficient for AUD. Becker did a good job covering FAR and BEC but I’m a little nervous about AUD being Becker is my sole study material.

Has anyone passed AUD within the last 18 months studying only Becker’s multiple choice questions?

A 99 DOES NOT mean 100% correct. It means you maxed out the number of points you can accumulate but does not mean you answered everything 100% correctly..

Life lessons…people lie. It doesn't have to make sense, or be for a reason, they lie anyway.

In thinking about this…audit was the only accounting class I had at a 4 year school…and I think I had a stronger background in the material than I did in other sections. That may influence how I viewed Becker.

My background is weakest in most of what was on BEC…other than cost. I didn't have the BS business classes and management baloney that others did.

I thought the exam is based on 100 points. Learn something new every.

I've only used Becker for my studying. I watched the lectures once and then just did the MCQs and sims as many times as I could stand them. Certain sections of AUD were easier than others for me so I did the MCQs for those sections more times.

I used Becker for AUD and passed, but I had access to the books as well as the homework. I think AUD would be hard to master from MCQ's alone. So much of AUD is about process, and MCQ's can only test pieces of that process. I'm not sure how you'd get the big picture view from MCQ's (unless the explanations are more detailed than I remember).

I scored well on AUD but I am not a Becker shill. Honestly, I only used Becker because my company paid for it. The books and MCQ's were sufficient but I didn't find the lectures or flash cards particularly helpful, and there are definitely more cost-effective options out there.

After studying for A1 thru A3, I would say the material will be easier to remember by viewing the lectures before doing the homework questions do to the flow of the process. Knowing only bits and pieces would not work for the actual exam.

My conclusion is AUD is extremely easy to study HOWEVER the exam may be difficult bc you have to remember everything precisely.

I might have misunderstood your question…I used the books extensively and re-watched parts of lectures that I had difficulty with. I've done that in every section. I translated your question as only using Becker materials, not only Becker MCQ.
