I am working on cross-referencing the NINJA Notes and the Becker book so that it is easiest to take notes once I start the Becker videos. Has anyone else done this?

I was thinking the best thing to do would be to look through the NINJA Notes and reference them to the section of the Becker book that they apply to – however – it is easiest to do this by looking in the Becker book index or another way?

Tyring to do this as quick and painless as possible. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I am working on Audit right now – I just took FAR on April 1 (Before I found this website and about the NINJA Notes). I already purchased the NINJA notes – I just wanted to be able to go through while watching the Becker video's and take some additional notes on the NINJA notes if I saw fit.

So maybe I should just wait until after I have watched the video's and condense the two sets of notes.

Any other suggestions?

The easiest is to compare the topics in the table of contents for each. I haven't done AUD yet, but starting with the Ninja table of contents and comparing to either the Becker table of contents or look at the actual sections (since's theres multiple per chaper) in Becker. It's pretty straight forward; shouldn't take more than a half hour.

This is what I came up with for FAR, so I thought I'd share, just in case someone finds it helpful.

Ninja IFRS (ch.1) = Becker F10

Ninja Accounting Changes (ch.2) = Becker F1

Ninja Financial Reporting (ch.3) = Becker F1

Ninja Bonds & Debt Restructure (ch.4) = Becker F5
