Becker Question –

So I take FAR on Saturday and am in my final review stages. I skipped chapter 10 in order to better understand the more important topics with the intention of quickly looking over important things at the end. However, I now realize I won’t have time to look at chapter 10 in depth (as in reading the chapters, the lecture, questions, etc.) so I was wondering if anyone can give a REALLY brief rundown of important things. I know people talk about derivatives and partnerships as being important, but don’t think I could review them in time for example.

Dont just skim IFRS rules as to how to calculate lower of cost or market,Lifo, impairments,etc,etc,etc. The last time i took FAR, IFRS was about 33% of the exam.

Subsequent events is another topic I'd brush up on. Yes it's an audit topic but it doesn't hurt to know the rules in case it shows up on FAR.
