I am preparing from Becker’s 2011 software for MCQ’s and SIMS. Are there many changes in 2011 beckers software? Can I use the 2011 beckers software to take exam in 2012?

Regarding the FAR there is 10 chapters instead of 9.

I think the rest of FAR MCQ and Sim are the same.

For other parts, I do not know.

I studied FAR using 2011 material and passed. I remember someone saying that a Becker representative saying that 2011 should be sufficient for 2012 exam. But I recommend buying 2012 Wiley test bank just in case. Not only will there be any updated MC, but it's nice to have supplementary MC questions to work on because you will get experience answering questions that are asked in a different way.

Becker is still updated the 2011 information on the website. I believe you can even download an update to the passmater software.

I used Roger, I know it's different material, but I've passed all three exams I've taken in 2012 and bought my materials in March 2011.

Accounting doesn't change THAT much from year to year.

I'm using 2011! Becker also has updates on the website…for any law/tax/acctg changes!

I studied for audit with 2011 and didn't do any of the updates. I passed without a problem.

Just yesterday I found out that I passed REG using Becker 2011 material. Full course and their Final Review.
