    Hey guys,

Hopefully there’s someone passed BEC 2011 with Becker software or share some ideas how to prepare for BEC, let say what supplemental MCQ helped you to pass?

    I’m stuck with Becker @@

    Thanks Thanks

Because I owe Becker an apology, I'll jump in here. I felt that Becker software was terrible while studying for BEC . I felt it was terrible during and after the exam. But I passed. Despite the flaws in the Becker approach to BEC, it contains all the material you need to pass. If you understand everything that's presented, you should be fine.

The best advice I can give is to put extra attention toward whatever chapter you find most troublesome. I did the chapter on securities valuation twice. Since it's only a 5-week course, take the extra time to really dig into the hard parts, and believe me that the software contains at least enough material to help you pass.

I honestly couldn't agree more with everything Club Card said! I hated studying for BEC and during/after the exam I thought Becker had really missed the mark…having said that I did pass last window!

I think Jeff's NINJA and the advice within it really helped me and I do feel it made the difference between passing and failing…I got them when they were B1G1 and well worth the money!

Whatever you do, give it a solid effort and it should pay off…

    Good luck!

    BEC: 79 - April 2011
    FAR: 78 - May 2011
    AUD: 81 - May 2012
    REG: 79 - October 2012
    Ethics: Passed - March 2013
    I am finally DONE!

I thought Becker nailed BEC. After taking the BEC exam, I thought a lot of the questions from the homework and supplemental questions were similar to the ones on the BEC exam. On the other hand, REG was not similar to the homework or supplemental questions. I don't think that was Beckers fault, since they structure its program around past exam content. Obviously, the REG exam has changed a lot this year…

    BEC - 88 (MAY 2011)
    REG - 91 (MAY 2011)
    AUD - 90 (July 2011)
    FAR -(TBD)

If you study the ancillary material as thoroughly as the rest of the text, Becker does an OK job. I used Wiley text and test bank and Ninja notes also. I didn't like Becker or Wiley as well as I did for the other exams. They needed more corporate governance questions IMO. I would say that about 20% of my exam questions weren't well covered by Becker. The Ninja notes were very helpful for BEC.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85
