Buying Becker CPA Review – Any Help/Suggestions. “Becker” and “reseller” are two words that don’t fit together in a legal sentence :-).

I got a discount thru my employer (who had a partner agreement with Becker), but I also know people who took the class thru their college who received some $s off… pays to ask around for the legitimate stuff.

Becker works on a limited time license basis. That means that when you receive all the material, they only work for a limited amount of time. They do have a Becker promise where you can get the next year's software for free if you meet certain criteria. That being said, personally I would only buy it from a licensed reseller or from Becker directly. Someone could (illegally) sell it and there might only be a couple of months left on the license or it has been installed on the maximum number of machines. Who knows though, it could be legit but are you willing to risk $1,000 on it? Maybe you'll hear from someone who has used the site who can vouch for it. Good luck!

DO NOT pay $1k for Becker. Pay $300 or $400 on Ebay. Same exact thing.

If you care at all about being eligible for the “Becker Promise” I would definitely purchase it direct from them.

Yeah, it might be a hardship to pay full price, but it's better to go through the legal channels than rationalize away cheating Becker. You might consider joining your state's professional society as a student member in order to get a nice discount on the program or see if the college you attended has an agreement with them.

” I DONT RECOMMEND YOU TO BUY IT” especially from CPA PASS MASTER WEBSITE

A COUPLE MONTHS AGO I BOUGHT FROM CPAPASSMASTER THE WHOLE SET 2011 FOR $799. THATS WHAT I COUSIDERED AS SCAM. THEY SENT ME MATERIALS AND ACTIVATION CODE ONLINE TO DOWNLOAD THIS AND THAT IT IS SUCH A HASSEL. ONCE I DOWNLOADED, I COULD USE FOR A WHILE AND THE OTHER 2 ACTIVATION GOT LOCKED OUT, I ENDED UP HAVING NO MATERIAL TO STUDY. I WAS 2 WEEKS BEFORE MY EXAM AND HAD NO MATERIAL TO STUDY. I CONTACTED THEM THEY IGNORED ME AND KEPT QUIET, I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO STUDY FROM THE BOOK I RECEIVED. I ENDED UP WITH 74 FAR I AM SO PISSED.

NOTE: THE MATERIAL THEY SENT ME WAS SHIPPING FROM CHINA, BOOKS CAME WITH A BAD CONDITION AND ALL 4 CD LOOK FOR FLAKEY…!

The Becker Promise will cost you about 225 plus tax per section. You basically re-buy the books and extend your user license. I was pretty suprised when I called to ask 🙁
