I’m currently studying REG using Becker 2012 Passmaster, Mac version. There are some serious problems with this software.

1. the ebook function on homework quiz doesn’t work on many questions (especially in R3)

you know if you want more explanation on the quiz, you click the ebook button on the top menu bar and the page that has the information of the quiz pops up, right? However, on many questions, the page is totally wrong. Like a quiz about tax exempt org opens the page of C corp.

2. Inserted text(line, box) on ebook turns into white.

I tend to write a note on ebook when doing MC questions. Blue color fades to light blue. It’s annoying but ok at least I can read. However, the texts and lines I inserted in red, yellow, purple, they all turned to white. Can’t read anymore, wasted my time…

3. the arrow cursor button on ebook doesn’t work.

I can’t select the text on ebook. When I was using 2011 software, it worked and I could create my own summary quick. it doesn’t work on 2012.

I contacted Becker sometimes but they are so reluctant to confirm and fix these issues. I wonder if they will release bug fix in the near future.

I am having the same problems with Becker R3. It sucks even more because R3 is a fairly difficult chapter 🙁
