Becker won’t update my Audit Materials, even though my license is still valid.

    Is it that big of a difference between Audit before the update and after the update?

    P.S I hate Becker

    Are you unable to update to 13.8.1? If so, I'm having trouble, as well.

    I keep getting the message, “The updater was unable to determine where the software is installed… If you have not installed the software yet, please do so before installing this update. If you have installed the software, click the Browse button and select the folder where the software is installed.” I clicked on Browse and found the Becker CPA Exam Review application in Finder, but when I clicked on it to indicate that was where the software was installed, I got this message: “This folder does not contain the expected files.” I have not had any issues with previous updates.

    Did you try using the web application and downloading it to your desktop? That is what I did for mine.

    Are you saying to delete the existing file on my computer and re-download? I'm not seeing an option online to download just the update. Sorry, I'm not the most tech savvy! (And yes, the IT section of BEC is driving me crazy haha)

    @barely — sign into your Becker online course. That is the only place I could get it. When you set everything up go under my-to-do, then downloads – there is a line called “Download CPA Exam Review for Windows / for Mac” that is where I clicked on for windows and it walks you through the process. Mine was a separate icon on my desktop, but I previously had 2013. Hope this helps!!! Good Luck.
