I have read in the previous posts that Becker’s didn’t do a good job on REG. Lot of people mention about “Ancillary” material which I did not come across yet. I am on REG 2 of beckers 2012. Is there anyone out there who used Beckers 2012 and passed the REG part without supplementing with any other review course? where is that ancillary material?

I'm taking the exam July 1 and have gone through the entire book already, and I think Becker has done a good job. I'm a little confused about why people are complaining about Becker's REG material. Becker prints the 2013 textbook in late 2012, and they provide the most up-to-date information that they have at the time. Then, when new information becomes available, they provide it online. People can't expect Becker to know what's going to happen before it happens or expect them to send out a whole new updated textbook. Posting it online for everyone to freely access is more than sufficient.

I passed reg only using 2012 becker on the first try. For BEC I added ninja notes.

Never mind…after looking at the 2012 Course Updates page, it looks like they don't have a 2013 update specifically for the 2012 materials. You'll probably have to skim through and locate the topics since I'm assuming the page numbers don't line up between the 2012 and 2013 textbooks.

@mattz13. Thanks for the info. These are the updates which beckers provide along with the time. I believe becker has eliminated that material starting 2012 review course because candidate who used 2011 material are aware of it. And those were the one kept warning candidate about not letting go this material.
