For those who are using Becker and have completed both comprehensive final exams, how do you feel about them compared to the actual exam?

Were the multiple testlets comparable to the real exam? What about the sims?

Spartan..I dont hv an answer for your question but I hv a question for you..I see from your signature that Audit was your first exam. I am very worried from reading other posts that taking FAR before AUD really helps esp in Sims. What is your take on it? My exam is a week away and I am planning to devote Sunday on going over some FAR stuff. I hv no idea where to start though..

Did you think the Sims were doable without FAR knowledge? I took my financial accounting classes at least 2 years ago and my memory isn't the best.

The final exams are completely different from the real exam. The real exam only covers about 10% of the Becker material. However, the final exams are a good indicator that you have a good grasp on the material. Expect a 10-15 % bump from the final exams to the real exam.

ayafzal78, FAR is definitely helpful to take first from what I've read here, but I was able to pass AUD without taking FAR first, and my most recent financial accounting classes were 2 years ago. I brushed up on my basic debits and credits a bit in my prep and it worked okay.

So far, I took the Becker finals for FAR and REG. I thought the real test was much easier for FAR. Scored in the low 70's on Becker final, 90's on real exam. REG Becker finals, on the other hand, seemed much easier than the real thing. I scored in the low 80's on the finals and am just praying for a 75 on the real thing when the scores get released in May.

FAR - 93 (YAY!!!!)
REG - 93 (Double YAY!)
BEC - 87 (Whew!)
AUD - 96 (DONE!!!!!)
