I have seen the Becker books through ebay. The price is enticing, but I don’t see 2014 just the previous years material. Do you guys think that the material could change that drastically from one year to the next? Also, have any of you passed this way? I’m a self study type and not a lecture type. I get board listening to someone else talk. That 3000k hurts my frugal accountant eyes…. = )

Well hate to tell you, but Becker is about 4 hours of lecture per section within each part of the CPA exam. If you want to avoid that altogether, I'd recommend Wiley. However – not being a lecture person myself, I'm finding it VERY beneficial, and it's definitely not as boring as you're probably picturing. I've only watched BEC lectures so far, but it's well over 10 notches above the most boring professor I've ever had. Can't attest to prior years material though.
