I’m taking FAR on 8/14, and am just finishing up reviewing chapter 8 in Becker. Once I finish reviewing all the chapters and redoing the MCQ I marked, I’m pretty much lost at what to do to review! I’m planning on doing the two Becker final exams and the AICPA released questions, but other than that, I’m not sure what else to do – other than MCQs that is! I was hoping those of you who have had experience with this test before could let me know if you think it is worth while to review the SIMS for each chapter?

Yes! Definitely go through the Simulations. I did each simulation two times during my review stage. I never did well on the simulations (70%) but it helped me hammer down the major topics.

I would always dedicate 2-3 days of just doing SIMS for all chapters at the same time. I would do this a week or so before the exam. You get use to the SIM format, and using the research function. You will be surprised how much stuff you pick up. Although some of the SIMS could be ridiculous, it's all worth doing b/c it will pay dividends when you take the exam.
