I just did the first practice test with Becker for FAR and noticed that it marked some of my answers incorrect because of the order of the journal entry. For instance, I put the credit to cash then old building, but the sim wanted the credit first to old building then to cash. It marked me incorrect [even though my amounts and credits were correct]. I have never noticed Becker do this for the other 3 exams and it raised a question about the scoring of the actual CPA exam. So sorry if this has been asked before, but does the CPA exam care about the order of the entries (first on drop list, etc), or is this just an issue with Becker?

As long as you have your debits first, then your credits, you will be good to go. Your answer would have been marked as correct on the exam.

Thank you! I just wanted to double check, being as this is my last exam and I am starting to over analyze everything 🙂 I do not want to make a trivial mistake.
