Hello future CPAs,

After studying for all 4 sections of the CPA exams using Becker, I noticed that the Optional Practice Questions were significantly more difficult than the regular MC. At first I thought it was me just forgetting concepts, but for every chapter of every section I always did worse than the regular MC. Anyone else find the optional practice questions much harder than the regular questions?

I think you touched a subtle indicator of progress and it is something that I feel too yet never was able to put it this way 🙂 Sure, it is right. Remember the instructor at the end of the AUD2 chapter says: Take a time to review the material before you jump to MCQs. I know it is time consuming – but I regard this as a guaranteed method.
