I have worked on 906 of 1134 questions on the Becker (REG). And I have successfully completed 712 of the questions or 63% of REG material.

My First Final Exam with Becker:

    Testlet #1 42%

    Testlet #2 54%

    Testlet #3 42%

    Simulation:

    25,60,10,60,34

My REG Exam on 29th and I am left with three days. I’m demoralized. Should I take the exam? Suggestion Please………….

Ouch. If you have time left on your NTS, I would definitely reschedule. You don't have a good grasp of the concepts yet. If your NTS is about to expire, then you have nothing to lose.

@ Minimorty- At the end I was left with 1hr and 30mins, I went to fast on the exam..:( When I watch the lecture or do homework it makes sense, but when it comes to test time I freak out.

I have already bought all the sections from Becker no choice left to extend my NTS, because April 6th is my BEC, FAR in May, AUD in July. My BEC classes start on 28th. What should I do? Please help me out…………………………..:(

Ha I say take the exam because the REG exam is completely different than the Becker one. Just take it you never know.

If you take the exam, use all of your time. Definitely dont walk out early without double-checking sims and using the research literature.

You took the Becker final exam in 90 minutes? Thats pretty quick. I took the actual exam in 130 mins and I thought I was cruising.

You can't extend your NTS, so I am a little confused about what you are asking. you can extend your test date, which I still suggest you do if you have time left on your NTS.

It looks like your schedule is pretty tight (too tight if you ask me). If you were cruising through the material, it wouldnt really be a problem. I am not getting the sense that this is going to be an easy experience for you though, so you should consider taking your time with each section.

CPA_85….I think you can be fine as long as you spend every waking minute of the next 3 days going over those MCQs and nail down the topics of each section. I was in your position a while back and I'm now through the 2nd round of Becker MCQs and scoring in the high 70s. I know how you feel. Trust me. I was in the 50s first time through. You can do this.

@ Minimorty- I am going to take the test on 29th and give my very best shot at it, next three days strict studying. What would you recommend me if I fail REG, stick with REG or move to BEC?

@jjm1181- Thats the plan bro. I am scared and freaking out.

I'm scared too. I feel your pain. I've been reading on here about people getting in the high 80s on MCQs days before the test and I'm still not that close. Good luck to you. Good luck to us both.

My test is Monday and my scores currently suck. I took off work all week and have pulled 8 hour days… I've done all I can do. Tomorrow will be a quick review then I have to hope for the best.

    FAR - 79 (2x)
    AUD - 81 (expired), 77!
    REG - 74! omg (3x) 87!!!!!!! I'm done! OMG!
    BEC - 81 (4x)

CPA_85, if rescheduling is not an option then just focus on REG and nothing else for the next 72 hours.

On your test day, read and look over any material you might have skipped but nothing that's crazy hard cus that will only freak you out! This isn't a chance to learn something new because quite frankly, you probably wont be doing much learning in such a short period of time but its to give yourself a chance and guess on an answer that looks familiar that could be the right one.

There's really no point in freaking out over the uncertainty. Only 1 of 2 things are going to happen, you will either pass or you won't. How much you study for the next 3 days will play a major role in that outcome. And if you don't happen to pass, then welcome to club and you'll pass it the next time.

But if you're looking for some hope, I can say that I did get a 45 on one of my testlets for my first practice final exam and ended up failing with a 74. Considering I didn't study with a sense of urgency in my last 3 days, nor do I have any tax or accounting background, I think it's possible for you to pass if you study like crazy until test day.

Just go ahead and take it bro. I was scoring average of mid 80s on my becker practice final exams for REG but after taking the real exam, I'm just praying for a 75!

@ SDTrojan1904 and CashEquivalents- I am going to study for 9-10hhrs for next three days and hit this REG exam hard as I can. One of two thing are going to happen, pass or fail.

The becker practice final exam finish time 90mins…toooooooo fast (end result 46%). I need to spend at lest 40mins first three testlet and one hour on the simulation. Any suggestion, please?

It's possible to pass the exam without knowing as much as the person next to you. It's the nature of these exams. You might get lucky, so don't freak out, master certain sections, and go with it. I crammed for 8 days straight, didn't feel all that great, and passed. Good luck!!

    B - (4/2012)
    A - (5/2012)
    R - (1/2012) Done!
    F - (10/2011) Done!

    @CPA_85

Definitely take the exam, especially since it's the last day of this testing window. It doesn't hurt to fail an exam, and with the 18 month window to pass all 4…worst case you just get some REG testing experience and are eligible to retake in the April/May window.

Think of it this way…if you don't take it you have 0% chance to pass. I'm doing the same thing w/ FAR on the 29th…I have only gotten through 2 of the 10 sections, and know my chances are slim to none to pass…but maybe I get lucky, and if not at least I'll have seen it once for the next time.

    BEC - 80 (11/30/2010), Lost Credit - Retake 11/30/2012, 80 (FINISHED!)
    AUD - 71 (05/31/2011), 79 (08/28/2011)
    REG - 70 (11/30/2011), 87 (02/09/2012)
    FAR - 61 (5/31/2012), 80 (08/31/2012)

@ jdj017400 – REG, BEC, FAR, AUD…after AUD all the fail sections. Sounds like plan?

One thing I learned about the Becker Final Exams, they are huge confidence crushers. At least for me they were. I learned to take them a week before the exam, so that I had time to get my confidence back up. Honestly, I do not think the exam is as hard as the Becker Final. You have gotten a lot of good advice on this thread, I think taking the exam is smart. Best of luck to you!!!

P.S. Maybe try a couple of simulated exams or progress tests and see how your score is?
