Becker Question –

Should I ignore individual taxation and business law sims, and only focus on corporate taxation sims?

I am about to be done with both chapter 1 and 2, and I feel like sims might slow me down. I figured I’ll just skip sims for individual taxation and focus more on sims of chapter 3 and 4 since I heard these two chapters are the most important.

No. What I would say is to really master the material through the MCQ and then during the last week or so go over some SIMS to be familiar with how they can test them.

I used Becker and found that I knew enough to get comparable on the SIMS with paying very little attention to the practice SIMS.

Don't underestimate individual taxation. It can appear in both the SIMS and MCQ. Know the AGI stuff.

Agree with above.

Individual taxation can be important.

Business law, on the other hand, I skipped the SIM…very slim chance you'll get a SIM on business law in real test
