Becker Question –

are some lectures tested more than others ? I am intimidated from starting with the tax that i have almost no knowledge at all in … and business law which is exactly like Chinese to me .! so i’m thinking of starting with the last lecture ,,, looks nice and topics seem easy .. ?

What do u think ? do u think i should study other lectures that will be tested more ?

You should study all the lectures, and focus on the ones where you're weaker. The Becker book lays out pretty well which ones are tested more heavily, but you don't want to risk going into the exam completely unfamiliar with a topic. I recommend going from beginning to end. REG was my first exam, so I understand how intimidating the material can be. Just work through it one lecture at a time, and you'll get it. Good luck!

I took individual tax, but not Corporate. And I got a C in individual–got Ds on every test, but the professor had this weird curving system though that got me up to a C.

The best way for you to learn it and get it is to do the MCQs as much as possible. Tax is a b****, don't get me wrong, but if I can pass REG, anyone can.

As far as Business Law goes, it looks intimidating, but it's actually not that bad. The hardest for a lot of people is negotiable instruments. Like I said though, your best bet is to do MCQs like your life depends on it. You'll be fine, and of course we're all here to help you out 🙂 Good luck!
