Hi All! I am currently going through the Becker MCQ’s for BEC. Have finished all of my lectures, however I am finding that the questions for the chapter 2 MC are ridiculous and I am not even into chapter 3 yet. My session has been over 2.5 hours and I am only on MC 53 of 94 for chapter 2 planning section. Am i spending way too much time on these questions, I feel that the calculations are pretty difficult and to solve the problem takes a while. Any suggestions. I am feeling lost, and losing hope. My scoring right now is 68%

Hey there. I am also using Becker, and just took the BEC class (and am still studying). What the teacher told us was that some of those questions are not indicative of what you will see on the exam. What he said was that some of those questions (probably the ones taking most of your time) require you to do multiple computations, and that you most likely won't see questions like that. You'll probably just see the ones that have one or two computations.

BEC 2 and 3 suck! If you're getting really frustrated with the MCQ's, move on and go back to them later. Gain some momentum on chapters 4-6 and then go back to 2/3 later on. I find that if I'm getting frustrated with the homework, I'll become more distracted and find things to do other than study. So it was better for me to just move on from those questions. Good luck!!

Thank you for your responses. Yes, I have definitely noticed the questions that require multiple calculations. I am glad that your teacher told you that. Maybe I will still do part of the questions, but not all of them and then understand the correct answer to see the additional calculations.

@neika, I was actually thinking about doing that. I am gonna move on to part 4 & 5 today, and work on those questions, I feel that I have a firm grasp on the IT section so I should score rather well on that part, to help get some confidence. I am taking my text on the 13th so I have one more week to just hammer out MCQ's and use the WTB
