Has anyone out there tried using the Becker Promise? I’m a self-study candidate, so I will have to send in my performance summary. I’m just wondering how much it will cost me this time… I’ve taken and passed 3 parts, and did the study material for the 4th, just haven’t taken it because of busy season. So I will only need to renew my software for one part? Thanks for any help 🙂

Hey I looked into the becker promise and when I talked to them about redoing AUD they said you have to pay for the materials so it's $250 (again what they told me). I'm still debating whether I'll actually do this or not… really why pay for more materials when you have the materials already ?

But it looks like in your case your software just needs renewing? I don't think you can do that with the becker promise? couldn't tell you though you'll have to call and ask.

Thanks for your help, I'll have to call and see what they say. It does sound like I won't be able to just renew it, it looks like I'm going to have to pay 600 just to get REG after my original license expires. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

For the becker promise, when it says you have to do the HW with 90% accuracy, does that mean you ahve to get 90% of the HW correct on the first attempt?

That seems pretty difficult to do. I did all the HW's, but of course not 90% correct on the first try.

Shiggity – no you just have to eventually get 90% on the HW before the deadline to turn in your performance report. So as many attempts as it takes.

My Becker expires in June… and if I'm not done by then, I'm just going to print all the MCQs to PDF and save them instead of forking over yet more money to them… I could care less about the lectures, I don't watch them anyway buaahahaa

Btw – if you answer all questions wrong, just pick A for all answers, hit finish, and hit ‘review', you can print the questions with the answers pretty fast >:)
