For those of you who use Becker, how many questions do you choose to do for each progress test?

Do you simulate a testlet of 24 – 30 questions or simulate the entire test (72-90)?

It annoys me that I have to wait until the end to see my score.

I usually did an even 100. However, it varied depending on how much time I had to study.

@James, you would say that limiting it to 24-30 doesn't reduce the benefits of doing a 72-90 (exposure to more problems)?

Jstay, that's great but make sure now you don't just start to memorize the answers.

you can do multiple sets of 24-30. Like do 3 sets of 24-30 each time you do a progress test, that way you don't have to wait until you finish 100 questions to go over wrong questions.

Just put it under study mode and you could see the description after every attempt.

Becker: Answer the first one then end the test and review each one while covering the answers. Once in while time yourself on sets of 10 questions.

Someone gave me a very helpful piece of advice:

“Don't take the exam everyday. The idea is to study everyday to take the exam.”

yeah idk i feel like i havent really memoirzed the answers, im just going though it and trying to figure all the problems out. i still make some stupid mistakes

I match my progress tests to the exam being taken. So for REG I did 72 question progress tests, AUD I did 90 question progress tests, etc. I would also give myself a similar amount of time per question on the progress test, that I would have on the actual exam. I think this approach is best because it puts the test taker in the closest format to the actual exam that's possible outside of taking one of Becker's Final Exams, or the actual exam itself.

I use Wiley but there is a feature to put it on study mode, I'm not sure about other programs. NINJA MCQs allows you to read the description after every answer as well.

@Jstay, I think I was in the low 90s (27/30 to 28/30) when I did FAR.

@_Nick_: Well, I usually did sets of 24 or 30. For FAR, I did three sets of 30 after every module. For BEC and REG, I did two or three sets of 24 depending on how lazy I wanted to be.

I don't think there's a big difference between doing three sets of 24 or one set of 72, for example, although maybe there's an exception with REG. When I try to do 24-question progress tests over all eight sections of REG, it leaves out R6 and R7 entirely and only gives me a handful of R8. You have to ramp up the total a lot just to get one question from the earlier business law sections.
