    Hey Guys.

So I have been studying for BEC for quite awhile now using BECKER. IT is my last exam and I have it scheduled for May 13th. Today I took my first full practice exam. I scored a 47%. 47!!!. I passed all three of the other exams and was never this low. I am a controller at work and have a finance background so a lot of these topics are not new. For disclosure, I mis-read the instructions on a simulation that to round everything to the nearest thousands, so I would have scored a 61% if not for that because my answers were correct if not for the rounding.

I am freaking out right now, because although I technically have 4 chances to pass BEC before anything expires, I really want to get this out of the way. I have nightmares about failing this one for some reason. So my question is do you think there is any chance I can get this up in 2 weeks of studying 2 hrs per day and 4per day on the weekend. I have a very intense job that I can’t commit to much study time beyond that.

I have also been taking the backer progress test and on the last 5 or 6 sets of 35, have been averaging in the high 70s, low 80s. Possible I just had a bad performance today? Any Tips?

I think you just had a tough go on that one. But, just use the report to see which areas you got questions wrong. You can go back and look at those questions and see if you just had a momentary lapse or if you actually don't know that specific material very well. Do not put much stock in your mock exam score. It does not weight any questions higher or lower depending on difficulty, and does not show you more questions from the heavily tested topics, both of which happen on the actual exam. It's a tool to show you potential weak spots, but it cannot be trusted as a tool to gauge your readiness to take the exam. Too many people score in the 50's on the mock, only to get a 90 on the actual exam for it to be a any kind of predictor of success.
