I Started the Becker course in August and not kept up with the online course. Now I am getting a message that i will not be able to access the online lectures or questions and materials. What do I do!? I have the CD’s and material does this mean I have to use the CD’s and DVD’s only now!?

I personally like the dvd's better than the live lecture! Granted I have only listened to FAR which was good because of the jokes that they tell. I am now studying for BEC (I am up to Ch. 3) and so far only the guy on Chapter 2 is kinda boring, although I find the way he says when GDP goes up then…..

As for ch.4 and 5. i will cross that bridge when i get there….hopefully i will begin 4 sometime tomorrow.

They state that I have only a year for the DVD's. Are my DVD's going to bow up in a year or is it that I won't be able to get updates after that year? Has anyone gone past the year mark and ran into any issues. I guess I can cross that bridge whe and if I get there but I am just planning ahead.

They probably dont self detruct, but I think the dvds and passmaster, wont open in the beker software after 1 year. There are probably workarounds though!

The software expires one year and actually one month from the date you register it. After that date, you can no longer view the lectures, access questions or anything. I've never found a way around it other than buying new software. If you find a way to continue using it after a year, lemme know please haha.

I have heard you can get a 6 months extension if you call probably for a price. I have even read somewhere though I can not remember where that the new software be sold is now good for 18 months. I doubt you would really want to use old software for too long, it is just not worth the risk in my opinion.
