Anyone have any suggestions on sudy reveiw material for FAR , I have used Yaeger for BEC before and I thought Cindy was great ! and I used Becker for AUD which was pretty decent as well!( still waiting on result though !!)

The only thing with Yaeger is that the Wiley test bank CD was just such a pain , it would crash after like one or two days of use , has anyone used their online test bank , any reviews on that ?

I am just starting with Becker for FAR ( Starting part 3 out of 9 sections). So far it has been mostly review from previous accounting courses, but I feel that the lectures are pretty informative and easy to follow.

In regards to the MCQ test banks, I really like Becker. The dashboard is very easy to use and the pratice tests/quizzes seem to have helped me in understanding the material. I have no basis for comparision with other study materials, so please take my recommendation with a grain of salt.

I also used Becker for AUD in the last window and felt I was as prepared as I was going to be for the actual test, but who knows until the end of June when scores are released.

My $.02, hopefully someone can give you a better comparision between Yaeger and Becker who have used both.

I purchased the test bank CD but it wouldn't work on my computer even after a Wiley tech spent 3 hours working on it by remote access so I was given an online subscription as compensation. I used it for all 4 exams and had no problems with it crashing although it was occasionally a little slow. I found the test bank useful for all the exams, but I thought it was best with FAR. Lots of questions that covered almost everything I saw on the exam. It was especially helpful to me with GOVT and NFP.

I used Wiley online test bank and Gleim CD test bank. I liked Gleim alot better because I felt the user interface was much more appealing. The Wiley online test bank looks exactly like what you would see at prometric…which I guess is ok, but I dont like staring at it for hours and hours, weeks and weeks. I also don't like the way Wiley asks you to save and name every single study or exam session. As far as the questions, I felt like both Wiley and Gleim had very similar questions. For me, I use both just to make sure I don't start just memorizing the answers.

Im a big fan of the Wiley online test bank. I use it to supplement Becker and felt pretty good about everything so far except for the REG simulations. Those just sucked

I used Becker for FAR and failed 3 times. I switched to Yaeger and improved my score 13%!

I used only Becker for AUD and REG it was great.

For BEC I used both so we'll see.

I agree with Herbieherb, Yaeger is more of a teaching course, which made a difference with FAR. I also thought the Wiley book is put together well. I like the fact that they cover topics in smaller bites than Becker, it makes the process of studying less intimidating. I used both Yaeger and Becker for FAR, but still waiting on the score.
