I am currently using CPAexcel with the 10-point combo, and have not been doing so well with five failed attempts. I am very confident about my BEC retake coming up on 2-28-14, however, I am thinking replacing CPAexcel with a different review course for FAR, AUD, and REG. And I still plan to use 10-point combo as a supplement. I am just wondering, which is better, Becker or Roger, and why?

If you want good lectures choose Roger. If you want good multiple choice and sims to practice choose Becker.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

@dmars327 haha. Thought I was the only who remembers that cheer. Roger should get an award for excellence in teaching. He's naturally funny. You may have seen this video when he was on the Dating Game:

I haven't started FAR and I already know about his famous Leases Cheer – TT BPO 75 or 90! LOL

I made some of my non accounting friends watch it and even they now remember it 🙂 The Cheer I mean.

I was watching several demos while I was shopping around for review courses.

Roger is good. He should be on the Mountain Dew commercial.

My family loves his lecture. He is so fun to watch. Even my kids(G1 and G4) are intrigued and ask me questions like “what is available for sale? Why is he saying available-for-sale so many times?”, or “sounds like ‘Gorilla for sale' song!” which makes me explain the difference between AFS and TS…and realize I was fooling them and I really need to study more.

Although I didn't get see Becker material, I hear good thing about the MCQs.
