    Becker Question –

I like having structure in studying and access to the online instructors, but do you have access to all of the materials in order to go @ a faster pace if wanted?

Can I go slower than the online as well, and still access all of the lectures / self-study materials?

You do and you don't have access ahead of time. You get all the materials (DVDs & books) that you'd need for self-study, so technically you can work ahead, but if you want to watch the lectures online through the class website it has a set weekly schedule, and you don't get the week's lectures, homework, etc. until each Monday. You can always go back to stuff from the prior weeks, but you can't work ahead online.

I'm not sure how the Becker promise works out if you watch the DVDs on your own ahead of time but then don't watch them on the website.

You get all the same materials as you do in self-study. So can watch lall ectures & do all the homeworks at your own pace.

I ordered online, but never ended up utilizing it for my last section because my study timeline ended up being so different from what I had originally scheduled in the online class. So can't say much about it, although I think I'll try to utilize my next section's online option hopefully.

One nice thing about the online is that after I “missed” every session, BECKER would email me 3-8 pages of class notes that covered the main points in the lectures, which I felt was very nice and useful for a compressed summary of important information. I assume all students who register for the online course get these notes sent to them.

I am also taking Becker Online format for FAR and AUD any advice on how to make study plan? This is what I am currently doing-

    1. Watch and listen to the lecture once and again for the parts I didn't understand.

    2. Do all the homework problems. The ones I get wrong will go over it again and start from the beginning of that chapter subtopic.

I started studying last week and since past Thursday I have slacked off (because of graduation and my parents visited me), but will get back on track from tomorrow. Am little nervous w/ my preparation and not confident about my study plan. Any insight from your end will be helpful and I will try to modify my prep strategy according to that.

I'm planning to study w/ the online Fast Pass schedule starting next Monday, which will be difficult because of finals but the only other FastPass starts in August..too late for me!

Along with completing lectures and homework problems, I plan to make my own flashcards for any problems/ concepts I have concerns with. It usually helps me to write things down while reading them aloud–sort of an audio/visual learning combination.

I am also taking the Fastpass starting Monday and will also be working fulltime during this time. Anyone has any words of advice on how to handle this? Also for those that are or have taken the fast pass, how did you schedule your exam?
