I wanted to post this on here because there are posts from people that are running out of time with their Becker software. I was told via the chat function with Becker that they offer a one time extension if your software is expiring before your exam. The Becker rep said “We do offer a 1 time courtesy extension for students. To qualify for this you would need to send in your prometrics’s confirmation for each exam you have scheduled past your expiration date. Then we can extend your software for those sections until your exam date or 3 months from your original expiration date. Whichever comes first.”

Hope this helps anyone that needs it.

Do you know if that was free? I just asked and was told $199 for 3 months. But I was going to buy again so you saved me $$$!!

rinahm – do you have a test scheduled? My friend also just got a free extension. I forced him to call because he was insistent about the $199. I think the caveat is having proof your exam is scheduled.

You have to have the test(s) scheduled (and send them proof) and they will extend until each test date. I just did this a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised.

Yes! I also did this in November. I got an extension until my test dates in January.

So I asked multiple customer services and they all told me the same $199 extension. I even told them that my test is on 6/10.They said they just changed the policy on the extension. I didn't even know they can extend the course and thinking to pay like $600 so $199 was better…

I was told that it was a courtesy extension and there was no mention of having to pay anything so I figured it was free as long as you submit your Prometric information. I would try talking to them via chat that way that can be clear with what you are asking as it is typed on the screen.
