Becker lectures – a waste of time?

So I am using my friend’s Becker materials since they already passed recently. Friend took really good notes, highlighted everything from the lectures, and wrote down MCQs that would be good to practice on for each section.

Should I even bother watching the lectures? Sometimes it feels like I’m just watching to feel I’m progressing, but not sure if I’m learning all that much more. As I said, everything is already highlighted in the book……..but at the same time I do not want to miss anything important.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I don't think lectures are useful for me so I stopped watching them after the first two exams. It's really dependent on how you learn best.

They are helpful if you have enough time, they point out things that you wouldn't know just by reading the book, not material wise but like techniques to remember things and what not. I don't have 4 hours per chapter to spare now so I'm ignoring the lectures. If you're understanding without lectures and able to answer questions then don't waste your time, if you are lacking knowledge about a topic and need some re-enforcement, watch that specific topic.

I can't believe this is over! 2 years and 3 months..
