I agree, especially when I cant understand what point they are even trying to make. That being said, I forgive minor typos. Often times I am typing on my iPhone (sometimes while driving – whoops) so I try to get my point across as quickly as possible without regard to punctuation. That is why I would like to have an unlimited amount of time to edit. I'll read something I wrote a few weeks later and want to make changes. Oh well.

I usually just look over typographical errors as well, but like I said, this thread brought out the grammar nazi. I'll put him back in his corner if you promise to stop texting and driving.

I'd be lying if I promised to stop. I do wish there was better technology that would facilitate it though.

@Witchkizzle No it's not you either. Here's a hint, and a pet peeve of mine, “no baring on…”. The word “baring” comes from the word bare, which means to be without or naked. The sentence, as it stands, has everyone picturing the writer as naked. I do not want to do that. The correct phrase should have been “no bearing on”. The word bearing means in reference or relation, as if one situation has any weight upon the outcome. This is just a pet peeve of mine and I have absolutely no intention of beginning to correct the grammar on every post. For the record, I prefer the term “Grammar Queen” to grammar nazi. LOL
