Becker works for a lot of people and it doesnt work for some. Perhaps your learning style isnt well suited for Becker. That doesnt mean that Becker is garbage.

It is garbage if I was getting 80% of their passmaster questions correct the first time around and managed only a 61 on the actual exam

I gotta agree with you there. I did terribly on the practice questions and tests in all the other sections but AUD and passed with a wide margin. Then I get to AUD and am doing great on the practice test and questions, then fail horribly.

To be honest, I don't think there is any review course out there that's 100% guaranteed.

I have to disagree. I used Becker and only Becker for my two exams. I felt very prepared on exam day and my scores were well above passing.

Becker may not work for everyone, but I do not think that it is fair to call it garbage based on the success that many people have had with it.

I somewhat agree about Becker. The boxing, highlighting, and random circling is annoying. I wish there was a course that just explained actual MC questions in detail. And continually drilled MC questions.

I would agree with Mini. It works for some people and does not for other, just like any other review course.

I wasn't doing very well on MC first time around in the very beginning of my review for AUD, felt very discouraged and decided to use the textbook while doing MC. If I didn't know the answer, instead of guessing, I would look it up in the text. I did not read the book after I listened to the lectures, but referring to the text while working on homework worked for me.

I felt really well prepared before the exam, and apparently Becker did a good job for me.

Sry but it seems the only garbage around here are you study habits and attitude. What are you basing your opinion on? Have you compared Becker to another study system? Is it that much worse? Or are you mad you failed?

I used only the wiley book for BEC and passed easily with moderate study

I used the becker book for REG and AUD and studied extensively and failed horribly

that's what I'm basing my opinion on. And if I was getting 80% of the becker passmaster questions correct the first time and still failed, then there's your proof right there. Read my posts next time before commenting
